About Me
Alicia Gajraj is a Guyanese-American journalist currently working as an Associate Producer at Law and Crime Network. After graduating from a journalism high school and pursuing journalism at Brooklyn College, she covered news stories on different beats. She continued her passion for Journalism by getting her Masters Degree at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism, covering the education beat. She covered stories on multiple platforms like in print, audio, and video and was featured in the Mott Haven Herald, Prism, and NYCity News Service. She likes producing content on issues affecting people in New York, for example, local education laws, social issues, and politics. With her passion for educating and storytelling, she hopes to be employed at a media corporation as an urban reporter. When she is not reporting, she likes to snuggle up with her French Bulldog, Bruce.
